The excitement is reaching fever pitch, a monumental season is approaching, news of this occasion being heard in all forms of media, and who would've thought all this attention is being created by the A-league. Can Rigters light up the A-League? Football fans in Australia have had to tolerate a lot of negative attitude towards their beautiful game since the inception of the NSL let alone the A-league. Constantly being deprived of the media attention it deserves, and an organisation treating its league as a business and not listening to its fans, the future for the world game in Australia seemed severely bleak. Although, with the unimaginable signings of near prime, starting Socceroo superstars Harry Kewell and Brett Emerton, a change of the guard is being sensed.
