Harry Kewell 2.0

It's the question on everyone's lips, will he or won't he?

Harry Kewell has been the star of Australian football for years but after a number of injuries, and Australia's success on the international stage, fans have shifted their attention to the greater picture and Kewell has been overshadowed by the national team he helped create.

Tim Cahill is now Australia's headline star but Kewell will always have a special place in the hearts of Australian Football fans.

The golden boy may have been labelled a wasted talent but regardless of the labels put on him, he will always be remembered for representing Australian Football in Europe and the world.

But it appears that Kewell's days are near numbered and a call home beckons.

The majority of A-League clubs appear to be interested in his signiture, as are a number of teams in Europe, the Middle East and even America.

Kewell has global appeal and despite not securing an extension in Turkey he has the ability to play at a high level.

This next move will define the rest of his career and possibly Kewell's football legacy.

A move to England or another high quality European team may rejuvenate Kewell but a move almost anywhere else could spell the end of his career.

As an Australian Football fan, i believe a move to Australia may be the end of Kewell's career but it may spark the start of something great and generate enough interest in the A-League to make it a bigger force in the Australian sporting landscape.
