PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM OF THE MONTH (1)

It was an interesting opening week of the premier league with mixed fortunes, and alot of draws, here's our very attacking 3-4-3, TEAM OF THE MONTH;

GK:

BEGOVIC- The big man in front of the Stoke goals put in an inspiring shift against 09/10 premiers Chelsea, he kept a clean sheet and made 7 saves, none bigger than his save on Nicholas Anelka during the latter stages of the match, Anelka chips Begovic from 18 yards out, but the big stopper dives backwards, tipping the ball onto the bar, to hold on for a draw.

DF:

MICAH RICHARDS- The Eastland's right back kept a clean sheet, and provided the assist for Aguero's 1st goal, his darting runs were troubling newly promoted Swansea's defence for the whole game, whilst being solid at the back.

GARY CAHILL- The Bolton centre half is right ontop of Arsene Wenger's wishlist, and after watching his performance on the weekend, its not hard to see why. He was immovable at the back, and scored a stunning volley, to help his side beat new boys QPR 4-0.

THOMAS VERMAELEN- The Belgian had a horrid season last time around, riddled with injury, but formed a rather convincing partnership with Koscielny at the back for Arsenal during their lacklustre display at Newcastle.

MID:

CHRIS EAGLES- Having had a taste of the premierleague with Burnley 2 years ago, he just had to come back, this time with Bolton. Eagles proved his reputation true, with 2 assists and wonderful dribbles on his debut with Bolton.

ASHLEY YOUNG- Having impressed with Villa over the past 4 seasons, he now plys his trade with United. His fearless dribbles and wonderful awarness aiding him to 2 assists. His large impact even kept Portugese superstar Nani second rate during the game, an achievment in itself.

CHRIS BRUNT- One of the most underrated players in the Premierleague, Chris Brunt used his immense skill and touch to sometimes play with United's midfield, orchestrating their goal aswell, and proving his worth for West Brom.

CHARLIE ADAM- Adam made the switch from Blackpool to Liverpool during the summer, and showed why he was so valuable for Blackpool last season. He had a couple of long shots with his trademark left foot, stinging the palms of the Sunderland keeper, and providing the assist for Luis Suarez. Not forgetting his
"10 million pound" corners aswell.

ATT:

Sergio Aguero
SERGIO AGUERO- The name on everyone's lips it seems, 30 minutes into his Manchester City career, and already 2 goals and an assist. One of which was a brilliant strike from long range. His movement with and without the ball was impressive, as was his partnership with David Silva.

LUIS SUAREZ- He was the stand out player in Liverpool's first half, albeit missing a penalty. Scoring a goal and displaying his tireless workrate, and furthering developing his partnership with Andy Carroll.

WAYNE ROONEY- He is back, at least for now, scoring a goal and linking up perfectly with the rest of his team. Playing as more of a CF this season already is doing him and United better.

COACH- MICK MCCARTHY; For Wolves' wonderful performance away from home against Blackburn.
