Step forward for Victory under Magilton

Another game, another draw, or so it seems for Melbourne Victory who amassed their seventh tie of the season against rivals Adelaide United.
On the upside, Victory looked sharp for a good 45 minutes of football and showed, once again, glimpses of brilliance, reaffirming the belief that they can challenge for the A-League title.
However the question now will be if Magilton can harness this potential in a way Durakovic couldn't.
Adelaide on the other hand showed exactly what Victory will want to see in a few weeks time.
A tough draw away against rivals sees the Reds put together a good string of performances under Kosmina, a run of form that could take the Reds to the finals!

This is how Saturday night's epic between Brisbane and Sydney ended in front of around 15,000 astounded fans.
The game produced some dazzling on-filed moments that saw Sydney undeservedly leave Suncorp without a point to their campaign.
In a game that created many points of discussion one stood out above the rest.
Of course we mean Berisha's of-field spat with Sydney's Boscart
The emotion charged end to the game almost precipitated into physical violence when Berisha led Boscart into the tunnel to settle their differences with their fists.
The commotion was stopped before it really began but the shock of the events left the Australian football community buzzing.
Is there a place for incidents such as these in the A-League?
Gold Coast Gimmick
As many of us know outspoken Gold Coast manager, Miron Bleiberg agreed to be hooked up to a microphone for FoxSports.
Whether the move was motivated by a looming TV deal, Gold Coast's poor crowds or by the novelty factors of other sports is unknown.
What is known though is that the move has divided the footballing public creating to distinct groups.
Purists, who believe the laws and customs of the game should remain unchanged so that a human element remains in the game, of curiosity and conflicting opinions.
Revolutionaries, who want to see more innovation in the game allowing for new technologies such as the manager mic and goal line cameras so that the game stay fresh and with the times.
The next few years may prove clinical in the sports development as new technologies come forward and find their place in the game.
