Brisbane Bounce Back

Even ADP wasn't enough to lift
the Sky Blues
After a week to forget Sydney FC were keen to bounce back with a win against the reigning Premiers.

The Roar also found themselves in trouble languishing on the wrong side of the ladder.

Keen to avoid the fate of Crook, Vidosic needed to somehow revitalise the Roar and prove that they could move on without Ange Postecoglou.

Insanity is the repetition of the same act and expecting a different result and last night proed that Sydney should be institutionalised.

Poor defending again put Sydney out of the contest as Brisbane scored at will converting four times in a night to forget for the Sky Blues.

Brisbane opened the scoring when Broich's 40 metre free kick went untouched and slowly bounced into the back of the net.

Brisbane built on the momentum just 3 minutes later with Paartalu effortlessly beating Sydney's man marking and converting a rebound of Necevski's save.

However Sydney's seemingly lone hero stepped up once again to reveal the smallest ray of hope.

Del Piero converted two stunning opportunities and once again proved his worth on the pitch scoring a brilliant long-range effort and combing with Yau and some subtle footwork to confuse Theo and walk the ball into the goal.

However goals from Halloran and Berisha spelt the end for Sydney the later beating 4 confused defenders in what can only be described as embarassing for "football's capital" club.
